Leadership

From a business perspective Taylor Group provides continual professional development to promote knowledge, skills and behaviours necessary to guide and direct our teams to achieve our company’s business goals.

In order to achieve projects objectives our experienced Project Managers play a critical role in the leadership of the project team through planning, coordination and communication. We promote essential capabilities critical for project success including negotiation, resilience, communication, problem solving, critical thinking and interpersonal skills.

Leadership and management are ultimately about being able to get things done. Taylor Group empowers our Project Managers to be effective leaders as they create an inspiring vision for the project, motivate and inspire people to engage with that vision and manages the delivery of that vision by coaching and building a team so it is effective in achieving the goals.

Health & Safety

Since the introduction of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 1993, Taylor Group has adopted an approach of specialist training and continual professional development for all staff, to be up to date with current Health and Safety Legislation and as such have attended IOSH/RIAI approved training and CPD courses.

 

Our Experience

Our experience in the role as PSDP and the delivery of a wide variety of projects, has assisted us in applying astute consideration to the level and extent of information appropriate to projects and the development of a Safety and Health Plan.

Resources

We confirm that we allocate adequately trained resources to fully comply with our duties under the Regulations and we co-ordinate the activities of all members of our design team with a view to protecting the Safety, Health and Welfare of persons involved in construction and the end user.

Taylor Group implement a Management System which provides for continuous monitoring of personnel involved in the delivery of the service in compliance with current Health and Safety Legislation.

Project specific information is disseminated through design workshops and reviews Our Health and Safety Manager is responsible for preparing a risk management plan for individual projects and designers input into this document through the life cycle of the project allowing clear agreement on project outcomes, direction, remedy and action.

Our experienced staff with industry specific knowledge are specialists in aligning with the culture of our clients’ operations and their environments.
