This project was to the core of AbbVie’s overall Site Waster Water Treatment strategy and required critical information gathering, concise detailing and astute schedule and cost management.

Overview

The project encompasses the installation of a H202 UV Reactor unit which required the de-commissioning of existing plant and instation of new plant within a live restricted plant farm.

The commission included the design of all utility packages to facilitate the new process including process waste and automation H2S04, NAOH, FeC13, H202, transfer pipework

Appointment

TG was engaged as a single point design team to deliver the complete enabling works project to facilitate seamless installation of the Waste Water Treatment skid.

Health & Safety

TG also provided the services as PSDP and the appointed contractor provided the service of PSCS.

Sequence of Operation & FS

Full development of automation sequence of operations to enable flow from various waste water tanks throughout the facility to a new centralized waste water treatment facility.

Process Descriptions

URS development, Vendors P&IDs and SLDs were undertaken as a joint exercise by TG, Client Engineering Team and the Client Vendor.

P & ID

New P&IDs were generated by the design team and existing P&IDs were also updated.

Site Utility Capacity

Detailed surveys were undertaken, all existing P&IDs including valves and instrumentation was reviewed and compared to field installation.

Interface Assessments / Plans

A detailed laser scan was undertaken and a Revit model was generated.

FAT

TG drafted the FAT criteria documentation, attended FAT and executed and documented same along with client engineering team.

SAT

TG assisted in SAT procedure.

Process Safety Management

TG manage the integration of this into our projects by leveraging independent SMEs.

PSV / PSE

TG manage the design of this into our projects by leveraging independent SMEs.

HazOp

TG manage the design of this into our projects by leveraging independent SMEs.

ATEX

TG utilize consultants who are IOSH qualified in Explosive Safety Management.
