The Biologics facility was the single largest capital investment that our client had undertaken at its time of completion and the success of the project was the appointment of an “Outcome-Driven Multi-Disciplined Team” for this multi packaged project incorporating the manufacture of next generation liquid filled and Lyophilized product successfully completed January 2015.

Overview

Taylors were commissioned for design, procurement with construction support for the delivery of a standalone dedicated manufacturing facility on a greenfield site forming part of an extended campus footprint. We worked with a collaborative team to deliver the project from inception to completion and handover including project critical equipment integration into the overall facility. Key to the success of the project was the sequenced build of the facility Core allowing for the early placement of cRABS technology and integration into the fabric of the Core build.

We worked closely with all our design partners and clients’ project team to ensure that the design was in full compliance with regulatory requirements from the onset. Design strategies were developed for the core design including, toxin security strategy, process flows, building services and utilities provision, area classifications, pressure differentials, and integration of project critical equipment into the fabric of the core build during site operations.
