The scope of a legal contract shall be determined by the strategy for project delivery and Taylor Group’s vast experience in project procurement and delivery shall aid to streamline this process.
The key elements of the process comprise the identification of contractors and suppliers who have expressed an interest in the project and an agreed list of tenderers shall be invited to engage in a prequalification process. The completed documents shall be reviewed by Taylor Group, and a select list of contractors shall be invited to an interview process. On the conclusion of the prequalification stage, contractors shall be invited to engage in the tender process who have successfully met the selection criteria.
The tender process shall be administered by Taylor Group and shall comprise a set of tender documents, qualitative review documentation and a financial status review normally executed by client’s finance department. We shall review the tenders returned and execute a comparison to the project cost plan. A Value Engineering exercise shall be undertaken to align the tender returns with the project budget should this be required and a final tender report issued to allow the identification of the preferred tenderers to progress to the next stage of the process.
Once the preferred contractor status is achieved the contractors shall be required to coordinate all work activities and key milestone dates in the generation of a construction programme. Legal contracts shall be drafted to reflect the project specifics, and a contract signing shall be coordinated.
Taylor Group shall on the conclusion of the process prepare a full set of “Issue for Construction” (IFC) documentation including the output of the value engineering exercise where required.
