Taylor Group having extensive experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biologics and MedTech industry is ideally placed to successfully procure projects through all stages of the relevant statutory regulation and legislation.

We have a proven track record in working with the Local Statutory Authorities to deliver innovative Architectural solutions to reflect our client’s requirements.

Taylor Group lead the design team in analysing all statutory requirements including the services of specialist subject matter experts (SME’s). Our strategy is to consult with the Local Authority and notifiable Statute Bodies prior to the lodgement of an application. At an early stage in the design process a preplanning meeting is convened with the Local Authority to outline details of the proposed development to the Planners and seek their direction on the constituent parts of the application. Based on the outcome of this meeting a programme is developed for the delivery of the service incorporating the input of all the specialist activities including civil, environmental and engineering services.

Having successfully delivered large scale projects through the planning process in a seamless professional manner, our perspective is to engage with all interested parties and provide sufficient information in an application so to minimise the opportunity for third party input and observation.

We also seek to keep the Statutory Approvals off the critical path in the context of an overall project programme with prudent scheduling for critical items and in particular such matters as Ecology, Hydrology and Hydrogeology, Air and Climate, Noise and Vibration, Cultural Heritage, Landscaping and Visual Amenity, Archaeology, Architecture, Roads and Transport, Site Amenity and Topography.

The following is a list of the principal compliance regulations all of which are assessed for the purposes of providing a complete service.

  • Planning and Development Acts 2000-2002
  • Planning application
  • Fire Certificate application
  • Access for Disabled
  • National Building Regulations
  • “Buildings for Everyone – Access and Use for all Citizens”, NRB
  • “Designing for Accessibility”, Centre for Accessible Environments
  • Energy Performance Requirements
  • Near Zero Energy Building (NZEB)
